This panel board featured here is actually good. I went to hobby lobby to get a canvas and instead picked up one of these and it actually works really well. It seems you can use just about anything on it.. so far I've used pencil, pen, and marker. Pencil shows up well and looks pretty good. The pen sticks and fills in well.. and the marker is another story, it kinda gives it an interesting look depending on what you like.. I in fact like how it looks, but if you are looking to get one solid color and no texture then you probably won't like this panel with marker. All in all.. marker stays on and doesn't smear like some other panels.. it's kinda hard to work with a marker on the panel, but it stays on and doesn't look too bad. I'd give the board an 8 out of 10 and definitely would pick up another one of these
