Grenade Art Piece!!
So this little piece of art was inspired from the song "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. I've been listening to that song a lot lately, so I thought I'd do my own interpretation of it. This was also inspired by the fact a friend of mine on facebook told me to do "war" or something related to it when I posted "Give me an idea for a drawing." Well this is what it has turned into and it's very simple, but I like it. Grenade stencil with lots of colors inspired by FAKE! I hope you enjoy my new art piece and feel free to make comments and btw.. this is truly what my blog is all about.. For the love of art..

Ways To Know You're a Sneakerhead!!! via kicksonfire
So how do you know you're a true sneakerhead? It's when you can at least relate to one of the following characteristics for a sneakerhead, so read on!
1. You only learned roman numerals because of the Air Jordan numbered series!
- The Roman Numeral system, as the name indicates, was used back during the age of ancient Rome. But if you ask a kid rocking a pair of Jordans where the system came from, they’ll probably tell you MJ invented it.
2. You lick the sole of the shoe when you first take it out of the box.
- Besides smelling their new kicks, sneakerheads like to lick the brand new sole of a pair of recently purchased kicks. Now, while we are sure that Fat Joe didn’t start the trend, he definitely made it more popular when he did it while showing off his shoe collection on MTV Cribs.
3. When you buy new a new pair of shoes, you take pictures of them for your facebook profile picture.
- Let’s face it, most of us have a fixation for facebook. It consumes us, and many people put their entire life on their facebook! A real sneakerhead is so excited about the new addition to their collection that they have to show it off, and what better way to do that then to take a new profile picture for facebook?
4. When somebody insults your shoes, you love you kicks so much that you stick up for them like they are your children.
- Sneakerheads seem to become fearless if ever someone tries to make a negative insinuation or remark about their kicks. Have you ever dared to tell a hardcore sneaker fan that his kicks are fake? Do so, and we doubt that you’ll make it out alive!
5. You don't wear sneaks with clear soles in the rain.
- In case you didn’t know, but if you’re a real sneaker fanatic, then you probably did; when you let clear soles get wet, you speed up the process of them turning yellow. Many people complain that this is going to happen eventually, even if you never take the shoes out of the box, simply because of the moisture in the air.There have been many so-called “remedies” for this. Some people seal up their boxes, while others seal the shoes in zip-lock bags or put a bunch of silica packs inside the box. Others have tried using the infamous “Sea Glow” cleaner to try and rejuvenate their clear soles, but be careful as it might eat away at the glue that holds the shoe together. Whatever choice sneakerheads make, we know that when it comes to their clear soles, they’re about as scared of water as cats are.
6. You skipped school when you were younger because waiting on a line for new Jordans was more important.
- We’ve all done it, so don’t try to play the innocent role! Nowadays, Air Jordans typically come out on weekends, but has anyone ever thought about why that is? Back in the days, the release dates weren’t as uniform, and you would have to go pick up your pair of Js during the week. Jordan Brand eventually moved the anticipated release dates to Saturdays, and it is rumored that the reason being because too many kids were skipping school.
7. You limp when you walk to prevent creasing
- Nowadays shoe wear has become so technologically advanced (do you sense our sarcasm?), but before the invention of the ForceFields toe-box de-creasers, sneakerheads had other ways of preventing their shoes from creasing.While some wore double socks or stuffed their shoes with plastic bags, many of us simply walked funny. It might seem dumb, and we probably looked dumb doing it, but walking with a limp was our way of keeping our kicks fresh. You can even think of it as re-training ourselves to walk.
8. When an exclusive shoe is limited, your shoe size goes from being one size, to being a range of sizes.
- Okay, don’t tell us none of you have ever waited in line for some kicks, and then when you finally got the chance to ask for that size 11.5, which is the size you’ve been wearing since your were 15, you find out that they only have 11 or 12. Then, all of a sudden, you can wear a size 11, 11.5, or 12! Enough said…
9. You search the internet on how to take care of your kicks or buy some kicks you really want.
- If you’re a real sneaker fan, you’ve visited ISS or Niketalk at some point, whether it was to find out information on an upcoming shoe, figure out how to clean a specific shoe, or buy some kicks that you really wanted.
10. You hate someone who you don't even know, just because they're rocking some kicks that you really want.
- Sneakerheads don’t give others reasons to hate them. Sometimes haters create their own little drama of pure jealousy. Then again, sometimes the shoe is on the other foot, and as the sneakerhead, you hate on someone because you envy their kicks.Have you ever felt like your kicks were such hot items and you could feel people staring at them with so hard that you thought they were going to burn a hole through them? Or have you ever looked fixedly at a passerby’s shoes and gotten jealous? Come on guys, you know what they say, the first step is admitting that you have a problem.

M-Rock - The Best of Kanye West! (Mixtape)
This is M-Rock's - Best of Kanye West mixtape!! I'm a pretty big Kanye fan and this mixtape has to be dope! HipHopDX gives it a 5/5! Download link at the bottom of this post!
This man has had a career like no other. He has given classic beats and hooks to everyone from Janet Jackson to Rick Ross, he invented the soul sound, and what I like most about him is he has great vision. I can spend hours trying to explain how innovative this guy is, but I’d rather we get back to the matter at hand. His music has everything it needs to chart, get critical acclaim but you can tell he’s driving hardest at creating that classic sample-heavy hip-hop, soul and new school sound. I mean, how many guys do 60 mixes of a song before it comes out?
ABOUT THIS TAPE. I lack fanciness in writing and in the artwork (which I did myself), but I promise you my skills as a DJ are sharp as a ginsu on this tape. It took me 3 weeks, probably between 100 – 200 hours to get it right (I’m picky). I really went deep in to give music fans something articulate: scratches, digital juggles, lots of blends, studio edits and tricks. If you play it on an iPod or in iTunes, the tracks are all chapters and there’s a pic for every chapter representing the song. I’d like people to rate this among the best tapes ever, but you guys be the judge, diss it, love it, hate it, whatever, let me know what you think.

Nike SB Dunk History Exhibit in Bright!!

Lefty aka the L.E.F.T. - Kill The Messenger (Mixtape)
I got a mixtape to share, it's called "Lefty aka the L.E.F.T" by Kill The Messenger and it's an interesting mixtape. While hiphopdx gave this mixtape a sure 5.. I wouldn't give it a 5/5 at all, probably more like a 3/5.. this mixtape is different, but it's not all that... but themost interesting thing about this mixtape is the artwork involved. The front cover is interesting, but once you get the download you realize that there's individual songs with different covers. It's some really dope street art and that's what makes me actually want to post this mixtape to my blog. So.. for the mixtape itself.. 3/5 and the artwork 5/5. (Download Link At the bottom)
